Derek Reiners is a visiting assistant professor of political science at UF. He received his Ph.D. in 2006 from Indiana University where he studied under Elinor Ostrom at the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis. Reiners’s focus is on public policy and he teaches Public Policy Analysis, Current Controversies, Environmental Policy, and Analyzing Public Policy, among others. His research focuses on preference formation, behavioral incentives, and decision-making in public policy – largely in the environmental policy arena.
